Scotmid Co-op have generously donated £150 of vouchers towards catering costs for the reception at the installation of the Newport on Tay plaque. Scott Sutherland and his family lived in NoT for 29 years. The current owners bought the property from the family in 1984 and are delighted to host a project plaque. In a remarkable twist to the story Calum worked at publishers DC Thompson in Dundee. During his time with them he was, amongst other publications, editor of the Commando Comic. He continues to contribute stories to this journal.
Details of the service on the 13th April will be posted once arrangements are completed. Continued thanks to all the project donors and supporters. It's really helping to make a difference.
