FUNDING

Funding is inevitably the 'crux' of the project. Here we provide a breakdown of ‘known’ albeit estimated costs. We can use these figures to signpost progress and the monies required.

Thanks to the direct support of some service providers, we are delighted to present  adjusted figures. You will note that the revised estimates show a reduction in estimated costs by some 48%.

The
Commando Memorial Heritage Trail

The Commando Heritage Trail comprises a number of plaques placed at locations specific to the life and career of Scott Sutherland; from his birthplace in Wick to the Commando Memorial

The Leaping Salmon

As the final tribute of this project and your generous support, the recreation of Sutherlands's destroyed statue will be executed by one of the artists' students:

The Leaping Salmon will be placed prominently at the birthplace of the Commandos - Achnacarry by kind permission of Cameron of Locheil.
